City & Country - A refined digital experience for design-led homes

Overview

City & Country required a completely new website that better reflects the quality of their homes and the care and consideration behind each scheme. The goal was to create a cleaner, more intuitive experience — one that brings their design ethos to life and makes it easier for customers to explore developments, understand what makes them distinctive, and gain insight into the purchasing journey.

The platform was designed and built from the ground up, using a Next.js frontend with a Prismic CMS backend. This approach allowed us to create a fast, scalable, design-led website while providing a structured editing experience for internal teams.

The project included several key elements:

A premium, design-led experience: The new website was crafted to reflect City & Country’s brand and values, with a refined visual language, clear hierarchy, and a calm, confident user experience across devices.

Clearer development presentation: We focused on the way developments are presented—ensuring visitors can quickly understand what makes each scheme distinctive, while maintaining a consistent, high-quality layout across pages.

Intuitive navigation and journey support: The experience was designed to feel smoother from start to finish, with content that supports the customer journey, including helpful guides, inspiration and practical information throughout.

Performance-first architecture: Built on Next.js, the site is structured for strong performance, SEO and maintainability—enabling fast page loads and a scalable component system for future growth.

Structured content management: Prismic provides City & Country with a flexible but controlled editing workflow, allowing content updates without compromising layout integrity or design consistency.

The new City & Country website offers a cleaner, more intuitive experience, gives a clearer view of the care behind each scheme, and makes it easier to explore homes.
