Dreamflow - PHP MVC
Dreamflow is an online graphic design portal linking designers with clients looking for a cost effective design process. The construction is fully bespoke and is based on the Model View Controller (MVC) methodology. The site works by identifying two key roles: clients and the designers. Clients are able to upload briefs, attach files, rank designs, decide on winners and print winning works.
The designers are able to view all of the briefs,manage their projects, upload design work, receive payment for ranking 1st, 2nd or 3rd or for registering a "paid design slot".
Open University's Platform - Drupal social networking
Platform is a leading Drupal social networking website created for the Open University. The website is designed to encourage communication between students and provide a user friendly environment in which to do so.
Open University Platform was built using Drupal in order to provide a stable system to create large amounts of content around. Each site user has their own profile and access to a handful of custom built applications. The website contains news feeds, event management, forums, book lookup and a vast array of other functionality, including custom built applications to interact with external information.
BAA Video Library
The British Airways Authority (BAA) required a video library internal resource site.
The library is a resource tool available to both BAA employees and third parties for stock footage of aircraft or airport operations across each of BAA's international airports. These include Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton.
The database contains details of over 400 copyrighted video titles commissioned by BAA over the past 10 years. The footage comprises: aircraft take-off and landing, arrival and departure lounges, Terminal 5 construction, retail, airside operations and security. Users can search by date, location or keyword, view preview clips and shot-lists of each video and order copies online.
